Dear Ladies,

I would like to take this opportunity to personally say a Big Thank You to all of you for a well executed event. Without your support this would not have been a success. I definitely look forward to our collaboration in the next event in the next location.
Keep up the good job.

Peninah Wambui | Alliance & Channels Manager | English TRANSITION ( Burundi, Malawi, Namibia, South Sudan, Zambia & Zimbabwe), Oracle

Dear Katja, I just wanted to say thank you so much for everything that you have done to make my engagement with the team so positive and an absolute pleasure. Thank you for your patience with my presentation slides and ensuring that all went smoothly with the “speeches”. I thoroughly enjoyed it – the events were perfectly organised and professionally executed.

I would like to wish you all of the best for your future endeavours and projects – I hope we have an opportunity to work together again in the future.

Dr. Hanlie Smuts | General Manager: Digital

Dear Ms Katja Schmidt

On behalf of SABC 3, I would like to thank you for making our event, Regional Connect Durban in May 2012, a huge success it was. Your contribution in ensuring that all logistics are in place, made our job easier. Our talent and stakeholders were very impressed with their travel arrangements, accommodation and all related events they were invited to. You made SABC3 look professional and maintain the brand it is today.

Regional Connect is a SABC3 event, designed to expose our brand to the nation. The aim is to take our properties out of the box and introduce our channel celebrities to the viewers so that they can interact with their fans. This experiential initiative is two pronged; the first objective is to make the brand and the properties accessible, the second is to drive content on the channel by exposing audiences to upcoming content on the channel.

Regional Connect Durban was an opportunity for our talent to interact with our viewers on a one on one basis in order to create emotional engagement. More than 2000 people attended this event, which surpassed our expectations. You were able to manage the crowd without any incidents and this was evidence of your hard work and efforts.

We look forward to working with you on other projects in the near future.

The Rockefeller Foundation is a 100 year old international philanthropic organization who prides itself on the work that it does collectively engaging communities of stakeholders around common causes. It was for this reason that in 2014 the Foundation engaged with Potters Hand Activations as part of a showcase event focused on the area of youth up-skilling and employment entitled Impact Sourcing at Scale: Moving from idea to practice. The event convened a large and diverse international audience of global leaders ranging from dignitaries, government officials, CEO’s of large multinationals, top level executives, partners, suppliers and beneficiaries.

The Potters Hand Activations, under the guidance and leadership of Ms. Katja Schmidt, ensured that all aspects of the event were managed and executed to perfection. They were consummate professionals throughout the various stages of the event from preparation and lead-up to delivery and post event round-up, no task was too big or too small. The event went off seamlessly and being uniquely staged certainly left a lasting impression on all delegates who attended the two day convening, cocktail gathering and gala dinner. All aspects of the event were managed within budget.

The Rockefeller Foundation was proud to partner with Potters Hand Activations and their supplier partner team and would not hesitate to do so again in the future.

Dear Katja and Team

VMware have had an incredibly busy half to date in 2016, running a record number of activations. These have ranged from small intimate dinners for 10 in a beautiful setting, to larger conference-style events, in a variety of locations. As always, despite the volume, they were well-executed and very well received by the attendees. Thank you for always going the extra-mile and working as part of the extended VMware marketing team!

Kind regards,

Natanya Steyn

On behalf of Oracle Cape Town, a BIG Capetonian thank you to all of you for making our Digital Leadership Summit yesterday such a massive success. The combination of speakers worked very well, both in terms of flow and content. I’ve already received quite a few e-mails from our customers, complimenting us on a very informative and engaging event.

To Cathy, Silindile and the rest of our Marketing team: Thanks for your tireless effort over the past few months. All the planning, coordinating, organizing, facilitating. You put on a slick, world-class event today. My thanks to Katja and her Potters Hand team. Emma was super efficient today, in spite of some of the logistical challenges with the size of the room and seating).

Thanks again,

Potters Hand deliver an incredible level of service on all events, from a 10 person Executive Dinner to events catering for thousands. Working with them leaves me free to focus on the business and not the endless details of pulling off an event. The Potters Team have worked hard to build strong relationships with VMware staff at a global level, which makes it easy for them to assist me with follow-ups and logistics.

Potters Hand is the only agency I trust my larger, intricate events with. There is no room for error with the scale we have to execute on and the pace at which we work. I recommend them without reservation and wish you the best in all your exciting event activations!

Yours faithfully,

Natanya Steyn

Over the ensuing 5 years, the engagement between Oracle and Potters Hand Activations became ever closer and aligned and Potters Hand Activations were able to successfully ensure that they added value whilst also giving life to the strategies, concepts and collaboration frameworks that Oracle deployed for its partner ecosystem across Africa. Without the assistance of Potters Hand Activations in each year’s Oracle Partner Day, we would surely not have been as successful as we have been.

This past 6 months, as Oracle embarked on its new financial year and were taking on a mammoth new challenge to help and support our partners in 46 countries across Sub-Saharan Africa to move their business to the cloud, Potters Hand Activations was once again there with us to deliver exclusive yet accessible, professional yet personal and dynamically digital events across the whole of Africa. This they did seamlessly whilst also assisting and recruiting those exhibitor partners that wanted to ensure they support Oracle Partner Days in a sponsorship & exhibitor way to engage the range of Oracle Partners across Africa.

Yours Faithfully

From my perspective I thought the event was really well executed, this was the first event I’ve had with Potters Hand and I was impressed at the level of service and detail that you went to. Even though we had technical changes at the last minute your team was highly effective in making sure that everything ran smoothly. The venue was a great choice, the level of service we received from the staff from the moment we parked our cars was perfect. The food was plentiful and I kept hearing comments on how delicious everything was.

Thank you Emma and your team for all the hard work. Looking forward to working with you again.
